William’s Den celebrates its First Birthday Party
William’s Den opened in summer 2017 and it is time to celebrate all the achievements and success at their first birthday party on Saturday June 30th. The Den will be open as normal during the day but will close around 5pm ready to reopen in style from 5.30pm until 9.00pm.
It will be a social occasion with live music from local acoustic band, The Frogg Brothers, who won Hull Daily Mail Star Search Battle of the Bands 2017. Playing instruments like the banjo, ukulele and even a cajon drum with a strong vocalist, they will be aiming to get everyone on their feet and clapping along.
They will be supported by a DJ and there will be games and challenges for everyone to participate and enjoy. This is the first time Williams Den has opened during the evening and other Saturday Sessions are planned for the summer holidays.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online for £5 each and this includes some food, birthday cake with access to play outside and celebrate in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. There will be a BBQ and licenced bars available.
“So many milestones have come to fruition during the last 12months and it is time to celebrate this success”, stated Tor Carver, owner of William’s Den. “We have created a place for children to imagine, create and even get messy; the regular number of return visitors and positive comments we receive endorse the need of this kind of unstructured play in East Riding.
“It is time to have fun at our First Birthday Party and for guests to meet Christian and I with William, our inspiration, at this social, family occasion”.
