Playing, experiencing and socialising are an essential part of learning for all children, especially babies. Getting out and about, eating well and seeing friends is just as important for mums. We want a visit to The Den with your baby to be as easy and enjoyable as possible. We have parking right outside our wide automatic doors, huge, spotlessly clean baby changing cubicles, food and drink warming facilities and - of course - you are welcome to breastfeed in all areas.
Meet at The Kitchen Table
Delicious, nutritious food is a must for growing, physically active little explorers and our menu is full of wonderful coffee, homemade ice cream and wholesome meals for mum, too. Access to The Kitchen Table café is free and new mums can enjoy a free coffee on their first visit.
Play opportunities at William’s Den were designed by educational experts and world-renowned play equipment designers, to push children’s physical and mental development in a safe and exciting way. Our passion is to create a wide, open, special space, where kids can be kids and imaginations can run wild.
Fresh Air + Play = Great Sleep
Remember to bring a change of clothes for everyone as the best days at The Den include messy play with sand, mud and water. Babies under 12 months old play for free.

“Becoming parents was the catalyst for the creation of William’s Den. Watching our son and his friends play, learn and grow on our family farms we wanted to give all children the freedom and space to play safely outside, to eat nutritious and delicious food and enable families to share laughter-filled days together.”
Tor and Christian Carver, William’s Den Owners
William’s Den has been designed to be accessible to all. Visit the accessibility page for more information.
